This super uberduper exclusive Nike Dunk was created by Michael Lau for the opening of Honk Kong’s flagship Nike store.
Retailing for around a cool two G’s, this Dunk is firmly in the “look but don’t touch” category. Out of all the new Dunks to come out in 2006, this is definately one of the most original and handsomely-realized designs that I have seen. Check out the exclusive website for this release – and make sure to click on the “english” tab unless you’re fluent in Hongkonginese.
The shoe box is made of the finest walnut, and comes with a 6†Walnut wood color NY FAT figure and a mini skateboard wood tag. The “Skate:Shoe:Board” features 4 drill hole graphics laser crafted into the heel representing the drill holes on a skateboard. The inscription “gardener meets nike at hong kong flagship 29.09.2006’ is also laser engraved on to the heel. An image of the original NY FAT figure is also printed on the insole. Thanks to Freshness Mag and Kix-Files.com for the info.
