Could You tell me where you ordered the brake from? I have a similar bike and em restoring it but I’m having a hard time finding a back brake that fits it?
Hi Peter, I had these brakes in my parts box already. However, if you go on eBay and search for “Peugeot brakes” or “MAFAC brakes” then you will find the appropriate ones for your bike. To be extremely specific, the ones in the picture are Weinmann brakes (made in Switzerland) that have been re-branded Peugeot. These were found on later Peugeot bikes (late 70’s -80’s) whereas traditionally (1930-70) Peugeot bikes used MAFAC brakes.
