Yo, there’s gold kicks, and then there’s gold-DIPPED kicks! Created by Ken Courtney, aka Ju$t Another Rich Kid, these jawns are officially titles Indulgences No. 5 (Nike Air Dunks). They are the latest addition to his Indulgences collection, which includes other provocative examples of bling such as gold-dipped McDonald’s coffee stirrers and Bic pen caps (for your Colombian booger sugar).

This pair of gold-dipped Nikes is being offered as an edition of five (5) and was featured as part of The Black Market gallery show @ Anna Kustera on 520 west 21st street.

Inspired by the U2 song “Sunday, Bloody Sunday,” this gorgeous new Dunk will be released as part of Nike SB’s Holiday line up. The red material is luxurious velvet, with a patent leather swoosh with gold trim! I’m gonna be watching all my local sneaker spots for this baby.
