Paint nicks aren't a big deal, but any dents will decrease the value significantly. The group is also important - make sure you list the manufacturer and series (Campagnolo Super Record, Shimano Dura-Ace, etc.) Velobase.org is a good place for that info. You should be able to get at least $1000 for your bike, but potentially twice that depending on the rarity and condition. I have one in good shape, a couple of knicks due to couple of nephews. I used it to race a bit in the mid 90's, including the desert princess biathalon. and some other races. But am looking to part with it for the right price to someone who will apreciate it. thanks to anyone who might help, and or want.
